Privacy Policy
The short version
GrowGuide is built to be simple and low-stress. All tools run fully in your browser. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect, store or sell personal data.
What gets saved
Some tools may save your preferences on your device only — for example in your browser's local storage — so your settings are still there when you come back. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
Clearing your browser data or cache will erase any locally stored settings. We cannot recover it.
No ads. No tracking.
We don't use advertising networks, tracking cookies or any analytics that identifies individual users. GrowGuide does not and will not sell your data to third parties.
If we ever add minimal privacy-friendly analytics (such as page view counts), we will update this page to say so clearly.
Ask the Gardener (AI tool)
The Ask the Gardener feature uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses. Questions you type are sent to Anthropic's servers to generate an answer and are not stored by GrowGuide. Please see Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle API requests.
Children's privacy
GrowGuide does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The tools are designed for general use and do not require any personal information to function.
